MSDP
From Mudpedia
The Mud Server Data Protocol was created in April 2009 by Igor van den Hoven, initially as an MSSP clone geared towards server-client interaction.[1]
In April 2010 the specification was expanded and finalized with the help of Richard Woolcock when he decided to implement MSDP support for God Wars II. The expansion included a set of command variables to allow more complex server-client interaction.[2] Richard converted his implementation into a snippet and released it into the public domain in April 2011.[3]
