EnvyMud is a MUD codebase written by Michael Quan (Kahn), Mitchell Tse (Hatchet), David Love (Thelonius), and Guilherme Arnold (Kith) which was first released on July 1, 1994 as a derivative of the Merc codebase.[1] David Love and Guilherme Arnold left the team after the 1.0 release and EnvyMud 2.0 was released December 27, 1995.[2]. The final release was EnvyMud 2.2 on February 14, 1997 by Michael Quan, which included a significant portion of contributed code.[3]
